Huntington’s digital presence was outdated, wordy and worst of all, wasn’t communicating their value. Compared to personal tutors, Huntington seemed inconvenient and inaccessible. Their failure-chain messaging was unattractive to today consumers, and didn’t reflect the aspirational stories of success Huntington should be known for. Despite their proven method and history of great results, Huntington was often perceived as corporate, expensive and another cookie-cutter approach to tutoring.
Huntington needed to ensure visitors understood that they were the industry-first and are experts in their field and that they can help students achieve no matter the situation—through their proprietary method and individualized-learning solutions,—and provide measurable results and solutions for any problem, budget or schedule.
We developed a best-in-class responsive digital experience aimed to engage and empower Huntington’s target audience, moms. Research in-hand, we crafted an experience that understands the lifestyle of a busy mom and their struggle to find relevant and credible information. Key word identification and an actionable, data-driven transition guide enhanced search engine optimization while clean visual design and clear navigation guide parents in discovering how Huntington can best help their child throughout various stages education. Relative content is delivered every step way and strategically placed calls of action throughout the site inspire users to initiate change.
Our work resulted in a complete rebranding of Huntington Learning Center from the ground up—including television, radio, print, direct mail and the newly launched huntingtonhelps.com—ensuring relevant content and credible information cross-channel.
Huntington Learning Center was founded in 1977 and is the oldest provider of supplemental educational services for primary and secondary students in the U.S. It is a franchise of educational (tutoring and test prep) service centers in the United States, with approximately 200 franchises across the country.
